Thunderbird Events Von Dutch Fashion Competition

Dallas Texas 2004

The Thunderbird Team was called on to recruit and produce a model search by our customer,

 Lonestar Biker Bash.

They explained we were to hold an open casting call and finals in three Metroplex locations, on three different dates and gather some of the most Sassy, Sexy and Edgy young ladies in the area to become the next Eight Von Dutch Angels.

These young ladies will participate in a full fledged

Von Dutch fashion show to be held at this years Lonestar Biker Bash at the Texas Motor Speedway September 17^th - 19^th, 2004.

Being open for the challenge, the Thunderbird team kicked it into high gear on the short time schedule and contacted lovely ladies from several of our partner companies to put together a top notch casting call, semi-final event and ultimately the finals. Beautiful ladies from all over North Central Texas entered this event.

SATURDAY JULY 24th

Saturday found us at Rick Fairless's Strokers Dallas to hold the first open casting call.  Fourteen  ladies completed their questionnaires then modeled their version of a Classy/Sexy/Edgy outfit and swimsuits for the entire crew at Strokers.  Need we say that made us the MOST POPULAR BIKER SHOW in town that afternoon !

Our judges Luis Rodriguez, Andrea Adamson, Chris Sanchez, Troy Moore, Sarah Moore, Matt Edmundson, and our host, Rick Fairless,  selected 10 of the ladies to move on to the semi-finals.

SUNDAY JULY 31ST

Sunday we landed at Chrome Grill in Fort Worth for the second casting call in this competition.  Boy, were the riders from several local clubs surprised by the sudden influx of beautiful girls lined up for this phase!  Xes Whiskey closed out their last set while we greeted the Stryker Productions folks who stopped by and then we kicked off Round Two....

Our Judges Luis Rodriguez, Andrea Adamson, Chris Sanchez, Troy Moore, Sarah Moore, and Dan Sullivan,  selected 6 of the ladies to move on to the semi-finals.

THURSDAY AUGUST 5TH

SEMI-FINALS- ROUND 1

Thursday we pulled out all the stops along with Mike, Ron and Brian from Sam's Boat in Addison.  If you haven't tried the food or drinks there, get yourself to 4440 Beltline (Beltline & Midway) in Addision for some of the best seafood around!  These fine folks had the Semi-Finals in conjunction with their grand opening  and the house was packed for the VIP bash.  the front parking lot was packed with everything from bikes to limos as this was the most popular party in town.

The ladies competing got decked out in Von Dutch gear for their first outfit to impress the judges, and if that didn't impress the crowd, the evening wear competition hit home and rocked the house!  Our competitors were beautiful and the judges are still reviewing the scores! - MORE TO COME......

THURSDAY AUGUST 21st

FINALS- ROUND

Once again we joined John, Ron and Mike at Sam's Boat, Addison to rock the joint with the finals for the coveted Von Dutch Angel Spots.  Some of the most beautiful women in Texas lined up to compete. 

Our esteemed judges included Jack Savis, VP Von Dutch, George from DFW Exposed, Jason from Martin Brothers, Meat from Stroker's,  Shag from Red Bull, Andrea and Luis of Lone Star Biker Bash, Sara Moore, Ron Alspa of Sam's Boat, Sancho of Martin Brothers.

The ladies lined up in Von Dutch gear for the first Round and the house was rockin!  The band kicked in for a set and at 10 the ladies took the stage in evening wear for the second round in front of the judges.  Competition was tough and the scores were close and to top it all off Jack Savis gave the contestants their Von Dutch outfits before we announced the winners.
